Deaf But Not Dumb

I most likely began to lose my hearing about twenty-five
years ago, but it didn't change my life style very much. Early in my career I
had taught classes in Parenting, and one of the main emphases of the class was
effective listening. I was good at effective listening and I learned to
lip-read without any formal training.
