June is the month of weddings and sexy garter belts.

Whew.

Okay, things in my life seem to have settled down a bit, at least enough to attempt to be a more attentive host on Chesttalk. New jobs, less money, more medical bills, the same refrain we've all heard of late. So it goes.

I've been looking for quality stories to put here but most of them don't meet my standards. It's been suggested that I lower those standards but that's just not me. Quality over quantity, as Kenneth Robeson might say.

So, I'm going to post the opening chapter of a series that I found exciting. If it flies, great. If it doesn't, no harm.
