Hi gang,

Well, tomorrow morning at 6:30 in the a.m. I go get my every-two-years camera stuck down my throat. Barrett's esophagus followed by GERD that started decades ago but I didn't get it checked out until early 2002. So now they do this to make sure the Barrett's doesn't come back.

So I get to be unconscious for most of the morning and then groggy for most of the rest of the day. I have plenty of steak and fried chicken and doughnuts and vanilla cookies on hand for that I-can't-possibly-cook feeling. My husband can cook a steak if I leave him instruction on how I like them (otherwise he will mess them up):

One boneless ribeye
Salt both sides well before cooking
Heat oven to 350F
Heat skillet on high for 3 minutes
Char both sides for 3-5 minutes each depending on steak's thickness
Finish in the oven until it measures 125-130F inside (might only take a minute or two) (This step is where the science of cooking becomes art, tricksy stuff)
Let rest for 3 minutes
Turn skillet to medium and deglaze with wine and a dab of butter and a teaspoon of dark brown sugar to make sauce
Add pepper and toasted onion powder from Penzey's Spices to steak
Add mashed potatoes and corn and add sauce to steak and potatoes
Coffee and cookies or a tangerine ice for dessert
Bask in that well-fed glow and watch Captain America in the elevator! ("Before we get started does anyone want to get out?") (Has anyone but me ever masturbated to any of the current superhero movies? Who's your fave and why?)

Great. Now I have ZZ Top singing "Tube Snake Boogie" in my head which I always sing as tube steak! God, did Geana Tomasino gain weight! She was the one in the purple tank top. I finally, finally finished watching all the episodes of The X-Files. Now I have the followup movie to go through and then on to Fringe!

Too much coffee for me I think. (Maybe just one more cup, this pot is soooo good.) (CoffePOT! not mj!) (Although...I wouldn't mind that either.) (Not before surgery dolt, it will probably show up somehow in some test they run.) ("Hey doc, baby, you know you have some seriously hot nurses. Maybe some CPR training afterwards?") (Jeez, woman, get a grip!) (Getting a grip is what I want to do!) (Not like that!) (Yes, like that! And then things would go spurt and get all slipperly and salty, yum!) (Maybe a cold shower or two.)

You guys know the story series "Gobsmacked" don't you? I want to take that story and fill it out with more details, that always gets me hot reading that one.

Speaking of stories, I bet you all have read the same stories I have from Lit or Lush or xnxx. What do you want me to do about adding stories here, seriously? Where from and why? Just so they can be here or what? Is all this a waste of my time when they are already elsewhere?
